01 · Before Mastectomy

What surgery cannot give back —
we preserve before it begins.

Before a mastectomy, there is a window of time that most women don't know exists.

The Pre-Surgery Mold Kit captures the natural shape of your areola before surgery — creating a precise reference that makes everything that comes after more personal, more accurate, and more yours.

This step was developed by RmonyCare as an original contribution to pre-surgical care. It opens possibilities that surgery alone cannot guarantee.

This stage is time-sensitive. The kit session must be completed before your mastectomy date.

03 · Long-Term — Optional

Permanent areola restoration —
when you are ready.

Areola micropigmentation is the final, optional step in the RmonyCare journey. It is minimally invasive, performed with a medical-grade needle, and executed with oncological expertise — this is not conventional tattooing.

There is no pressure and no timeline. Many women choose their prosthetic as a long-term solution. Micropigmentation exists for those who want to go further — whenever that moment comes.

Insurance Coverage

Your recovery may be covered — at least in part.

You may not have to pay the full cost out of pocket. Under the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA), insurance plans that covered your mastectomy are required to also cover prostheses and reconstruction as part of your recovery. RmonyCare prosthetics and areola micropigmentation may qualify.

  • Applies to Silicone Prosthetics — Stages 01 & 02
  • Applies to Areola Micropigmentation — Stage 03
  • Requires a letter of medical necessity signed by your physician
  • RmonyCare provides a ready-to-use letter template and a detailed receipt with billing codes

Coverage Note: Eligibility varies by plan. Coverage of nipple prosthetics and areola micropigmentation is not universally mandated under WHCRA and may vary by insurer. When approved, reimbursement may be partial and may not cover the full cost of RmonyCare products. Confirm coverage and limits with your insurer before purchase. RmonyCare does not guarantee approval or full reimbursement.
