A custom mold kit captures the exact shape, size, and contour of your natural areola before mastectomy. This mold becomes the foundation for a Custom-Made prosthesis in Stage 2 — a detail your surgical team is not positioned to preserve, and one that makes all the difference.
The kit can be completed at home or during an in-person session with our team in Dallas, TX. It is simple, takes under an hour, and requires no clinical training.

Permanent Areola Reconstruction
Areola Micropigmentation is a minimally invasive procedure that uses specialized pigment implantation — applied with a medical-grade needle — to recreate the natural appearance of the areola and nipple. This is not conventional tattooing. The technique, equipment, and clinical approach are specific to post-mastectomy oncological cases.
This step is entirely optional. Most patients choose it 12 or more months after surgery, once healing is complete and they feel ready. There is no timeline. No expectation. Only your decision, at your pace.

Insurance Coverage
Your insurance may help cover the cost of your recovery.
Under the Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA), U.S. insurance plans that cover mastectomy are required to also cover prostheses and reconstruction as part of post-mastectomy care. RmonyCare silicone prosthetics and areola micropigmentation may qualify for reimbursement under this federal law.
