FAQ´s

Explore the Complete FAQ

What is the Pre-Surgery Mold Kit and why does it matter?

The Pre-Surgery Mold Kit captures the natural shape of your areola before mastectomy — preserving what cannot be recreated after surgery. The mold is used as a reference to create a custom prosthesis that closely matches your original anatomy, resulting in a more natural and personal outcome.

How can I know which model is right for me?

We recommend the Pre-Designed Collection for bilateral, post-surgical cases.

🔗 Explore Pre-Designed Collection

For unilateral or pre-surgery cases, our Signature Prostheses offer custom sizing and positioning.

🔗 Explore Signature Prostheses

Will the prosthesis work with visible scars or uneven skin?

Yes, our prostheses are designed to adapt to different skin textures and post-surgical areas.

However, minor variations in adhesion may occur, requiring a bit more care during application. We provide guidance to ensure the best experience possible.

Are these real patients?

Absolutely. Every image and testimonial on this page features real women who trusted RmonyCare as part of their healing journey.

How long does it stay in place? Can I shower with it?

Our prostheses are waterproof and skin-safe, designed to stay in place for 2 to 5 days, depending on your skin type, temperature, and aftercare.

After that, it’s important to remove, clean with our remover, and reapply the prosthesis.

How is the prosthesis applied?

It’s a non-invasive, self-adhesive prosthesis. You can apply it yourself at home or with a professional. We also offer instructional videos and support throughout the process.

Is areola micropigmentation permanent?

Yes. Areola micropigmentation is a permanent procedure that restores the natural color and symmetry of the areola. Results may fade slightly over time and a touch-up session may be recommended after 2 to 3 years.

Does micropigmentation hurt? What should I expect during the procedure?

The procedure is performed with a topical anesthetic to minimize discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure. The session typically lasts 2 to 3 hours, and you can return to your normal activities the same day with simple aftercare instructions provided by your specialist.

When can I have micropigmentation after mastectomy?

We recommend waiting at least 12 months after surgery or reconstruction before proceeding with micropigmentation — allowing full tissue healing and stabilization. A free consultation will help determine the right timing for your case.
